Ken is at the airport with Mollie and Isaiah. Their plane is supposed to leave any minute to take them home to California. We've had a fun two weeks. I'm sitting here thinking about the fact that all my kids and grandkids are Christians--thank you, Lord.
But the kids still need a lot of direction, guidance and examples. Deuteronomy 4:9 says "Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.
So, are we the examples we need to be to our children, our grandchildren or any of the children in our church family or the community. I hope I am. It is a monumental job we undertake to keep them following the Lord and seeking His guidance.
Let's pray for each other today that we will be the examples we should be. That our trust in God will supersede all other things in the minds of our kids and grandkids.
